Executive Shots

This week I was able to take a few "Executive Shots" for a couple of fellow students that I am taking an Advanced Photography class with. It's great to be able to have a college so close to continue to learn and grow with this wonderful art form.

Newcastle Wedding Gardens

Last night I decided to weed through some of the many images that I had...which translated into "file cleaning". In them I found four that I had taken intending to make into a panorama. So, I did some photo shop magic and combined them to make one photo. This photo is actually going to be 30"x12" when it is printed. (If you click on it, you will see it larger). The place is Newcastle Wedding Gardens and it is defiantly a beautiful wedding venue!

Kelly and Eric's Engagement Shoot

The afternoon was 29 degrees with a wind chill factor bringing it down to about 19 degrees...but Eric and Kelly withstood the cold so that we could get some beautiful engagement photos! The place was Lake Tahoe...where I have to admit, it is hard to get a bad photo. And my wide angle lens allowed me to capture so much of the beautiful lake. I am excited to be a part of this darling couples wedding this July!

NCWEDS mixer

This past week I was at a mixer for a networking group in the Grass Valley area. The group is called NCWEDS (Nevada County Wedding and Event Destination Specialists). I usually am the photographer who comes equipped with a camera to take photos for the news letter that goes out to the members of the group. So, here are a few photos of the evening along with a of head shot of one of the members of the group that I took just prior to the mixer . We sure have a great bunch of wedding specialists to choose from in our group!

Still Life

This past week I worked on some still life images. There is nothing like a simple flower to make a person smile!
