Angel Tree

This morning I was involved in an event to help raise money to send the children of prisoners to summer camp. The silent auction had many wonderful items to choose from. I was pleased to be able to offer a sitting for a family photo shoot as a part of that silent auction. Angel Tree is the name of the organization that provides love and care to these children, who through no fault of their own, have parents that are incarcerated and unable to raise them.

Chuck and Siblings

I had an opportunity to photograph four out of five siblings in Chuck's lovely family. That same day we had a few of Chuck and Lou's other family members with us and I was privileged to captured them with my camera as well!

Engagement sessions are a wonderful way for me to really spend some time with couples before their wedding. In this time I have a chance to get a feel for who they are, and see their personality's as they interact together.

Erich and Heathers Wedding

One of the sweetest couples...so in love...so darling! Erich and Heather had a lovey wedding at such a lovely setting. Their families were there to celebrate them and love them. We were blessed to be among the friends that they invited. We wish them a wonderful life together!

A Week of Memorials

This past week I attended two different memorial services. Both very distinct in nature, yet both very beautifully done. The first was a 21 Gun Salute to a Veteran who lived a fine long life. The second, was a service celebrating the life of a vibarant young mother of three who fought cancer over the past four months. I was honored to be able to capture some of the moments in photographs for both of these families.

What a great time we had with Joanie and Jack's family! There were twenty of them and they all were so cooperative. We even got smiles (and some wiggles) out of the darling two year old!

Kraig and Ella

Another beautiful wedding. This one was so touching that I cried as I took photos. Kraig and Ella had such wonderful friends and family with them on their special day. It was a blessed event!

This was a great July 4th week! We went to the river at Bridgeport and swam and went to the lake where we traditionally see fireworks.
