I’m a California girl…born and raised here…spent a few years in Colorado, but California holds my roots.
I’m a child of God and blessed to know Jesus…his grace and love are priceless to me.
I’m a daughter and sister, wife and mother…three times each out of three of these. I’ve experienced young widowhood, divorce and true kindred spirit love. I’m a friend, an open book and a truth seeker. I create without following recipes or reading music...I thoughtfully and creatively photograph images that speak to my heart…and hope to yours.

River Highlands Ranch {Grass Valley Wedding Photographer}
The evening was lovely...twinkle lights in a barn with wonderful food and talented people. Mind you, this was not just any barn , but one that had been designed to look like a barn but is actually an amazing wedding and event venue. I was at an NCWEDS meeting last month and had the pleasure of meeting Jane River Waskiewicz and her assistant Juanita. What lovely ladies! They gave us a beautiful tour of the place. And what a place, The River Highlands Ranch & Vineyards has got to be one of the best kept secrets in Smartsville (which is located between Marysville and Grass Valley). I have photos below of The Vineyard Barn and The Duck Pond Cabin. This is a must to look into if you are planning a wedding. Believe me, if I had one to plan I would be very likely to make this my venue of choice! The barn is the perfect place for the wedding and reception, and the cabin for the romantic and very secluded honeymoon spot. Take a peek below and see what I mean!
