Welcome to my blog…to my life.
I’m a California girl…born and raised here…spent a few years in Colorado, but California holds my roots.
I’m a child of God and blessed to know Jesus…his grace and love are priceless to me.
I’m a daughter and sister, wife and mother…three times each out of three of these. I’ve experienced young widowhood, divorce and true kindred spirit love. I’m a friend, an open book and a truth seeker. I create without following recipes or reading music...I thoughtfully and creatively photograph images that speak to my heart…and hope to yours.
So, come share my life through the eye of a camera lens. I will show you pieces of what I see, tell you stories about them and often write a prayer along the way.
Johnny and I had a much needed day off together this past Wednesday...not many times do we have days off that match! The day was perfect to shoot the amazing fall color. Here is a shot from Cisco Grove.
One of my favorite photos from a recent trip that Johnny and I took to Santa Cruz. A sneak peek of some of the kinds of photos that will be on my new childrens web site!
My new Apple being delivered!!! It's been a full week (or two) of transfer from my PC to this new baby of mine, but it seems to be working great! Baby steps toward a smoother and more efficient work flow. :)
The day could not have been more perfect...the beauty of the fall with such warmth in the air. Kendra and Chris picked the perfect day to become husband and wife. They were joining as a family...Kendra, little “R” and Chris. The family had reserved the Villa at Arden Hills Resort Club where there were numerous lovely spots to photograph. Kendra’s dress was a picture itself and she looked just lovely wearing it! The flowers were designed and made by Corrine Queen from Fit for a Queen Weddings...Kendra tells me that Corrine even did her corsage for her senior ball! The delicious cake was made by Judy and John Shelton of Shelton’s Wedding Cake Design...it was beautiful. Kendra did an outstanding job making all the arrangements for their special day! I had two assisting with the photography, Lindsay and Gwendolyn, they captured so many of the beautiful details from the wedding. What a amazing day all around. “Lord, take this darling family and bless them and give them many special years ahead. Guide them as they raise their sweet daughter and thank you for their family who has been, and continues to give such loving support to them”. Congratulations Chris and Kendra!!!
Well, children do not come any sweeter than these. We had so much fun taking photos of these two sisters. The youngest, little “B” captured my husband’s heart the second that she showed an interest in his “matoe” garden. And Miss “H” was so cooperative and ready for anything! These two can come and play with me and my camera any day of the week. Children are such a refreshing treat in life!
